We are passionate about good health
FOUNDER, LAURA MARQUIT
I have a deep enthusiasm for the body-mind connection and helping people heal through movement.. I grew up on the beach in San Diego and loved to watch the subtle intricacies of how people moved. We lived outdoors all year round and did sports every day - gymnastics, soccer, running, biking, surfing, frisbee, skateboarding - which sparked my joy in movement. In my late 20s I started to have severe back pain from some old injuries and sitting at a computer all day. I tried everything - chiropractic, bodywork, yoga, massage, acupuncture - you name it and I tried it. Eventually I found Feldenkrais and Pilates and loved them both so much I switched careers. I am passionate about movement and have witnessed how movement has changed the lives of hundreds of people I have worked with over the last 18 years. Not only can they live free of debilitating pain, they can get on a better health program, take more risks and make greater changes in their lives
